This is the third commercial wallpapering installation Le Tourneau Painting has
done for New Zealand Natural Premium Ice Cream. The first
wallpaper installation being at the location in Orange. The second
at the LA Live Center, next to the Staples Center. The
installation consisted of applying wallpaper sizing (a sort of wallpaper primer)
which is necessary as some commercial wallpapering glue can react with regular
latex paint. Once the sizing is dry the wallpaper was then applied
with the vinyl adhesive. To ensure the first piece of vinyl is
goes up strait we use a self leveling laser line level. Once the
piece is up the rest of the paper has to follow the patterns on it.
Third Successful Project!
All 3 projects went smoothly with very
little obstacles. The professional installation showed in places
like at the L.A. Live center where in the center of the wall was a fire alarm
lever. The vinyl wall covering had to be cut around the fire alarm
while maintaining the pattern on the panel next to it. Overall the
installation was a success and the customer was very happy with the final
product. They even threw in some free ice cream cone coupons with
the payment!
