The project consisted of multiple projects throughout two parking structures utilizing a variety of paint types and applications. Below is a brief outline of the different tools, paints, & services performed on this commercial painting project. Take a look at it to get a feel for what resources we put into our projects.

Ok, so summer is here so as a teacher I should be on summer break, right?
When your married to a commercial painter, it's really not summer break. Today I traveled with Chad so he could get carpool the whole way and so he would have company while painting a Solstice Sunglasses' store. The retail store had 3 recessed circles in the ceiling which were a burnt orange color, but wanted them to blend in with the rest of the white ceiling. Once again, my decorative opinions are called into question. Although I like the fact that Chad was paid to paint the circles, I thought the circles looked really good a burnt orange color. They stood out and gave the shop some character, but what do I know, I'm just a teacher. While there, I got to meet the really nice manager, Jason. While Chad painted, Jason and I carried on a good converstaion about a variety of subjects...Hawaii, sunglasses business, commercial painters (Chad), and his agreement about the circles being painted white.
By the way, Century City mall has a cool outdoor movie night, you should check it out...they were playing.....(drum roll please)...Flashdance! Between the good conversation with Jason and sneak peaks at Flashdance it's really good that I'm not a paid employee with Le Tourneau Painting-I think I'd get fired on the spot. Then again, if I try really hard, I will get fired and then I'll have my summer break!
